How Kerada JC collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Overview
This policy explains what personal information Kerada JC Ltd ("we", "us") collects through keradajc.com, why, and what choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to information we hold about clients or partners through separate written agreements.
We are registered in Kenya, at Sagatia Business Centre, P.O. Box 10402-30100, Eldoret, Kenya. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you choose to give us, what is gathered automatically when you browse the site, and what your browser stores locally on your own device.
- Enquiry form (/contact): your name, email address and organisation, plus your phone number if you provide it, the type of assignment you're asking about, and the message you write.
- Usage data: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected through Google Analytics.
- Theme preference: whether you're using light or dark mode, saved in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
How we use it
We use enquiry form submissions only to respond to the enquiry you sent — to identify who to reply to, understand what you're asking about, and get back to you. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
We use usage data in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Third-party services
Google Analytics and the Google Maps view of our office (in the site footer and on /contact) are provided by Google. Loading them means your browser talks to Google directly, subject to Google's own privacy policy, which we don't control.
Enquiries sent through the form are delivered to us either through a form-handling service or by your own email client. In both cases the provider processes your enquiry only to pass it on to us.
Data retention
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the enquiry, then delete them. Google Analytics keeps usage data for 2 months, then deletes it automatically.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. To do any of this, email info@keradajc.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
